When people buy expensive products ?
Hi when people buy expensive products like Clinique, Estee Lauder and Lancome an other makes do you buy then because you think they are better for your skin or just so you can say you use the dearest products. Ive met a few people that boast about using these type of products and me myself think they dont look or work as good as the cheaper brands. I new this girl once bought a lancome lipstick, £20 for a mini version it was and she went on about ot all day and i asked her if it was good and lasted all day. She came into work the next day and brought it in. She had to keep reapplying everytime she licked her lips and it never sayed put at all. So i just wanted to know what all the fuss is about when they are triple the price of normal brand cosmetics and dont last. I myself have tried expensive products and find they arent good. What do you think ?
I think with alot of people its all down to the 'label' and all for show. I used to work for a domestic cleaning company cleaning houses and you'd be surprised the amount of women who have expensive stuff on show on a dressing table for effect only. Week after week I spent dusting jars of unused stuff - while in the bathroom cabinet they were using good old oil of ulay & cold cream. Same with lipsticks and stuff - lots of women seem to own a chanel in ruby red but the one they use is a good old max factor in coral pink !!! Strange but true.
