What is a good base to wear under bare minerals?

I went and purchased many bare minerals products. I like a lot of coverage but putting on too much bare minerals does not look natural. I did not buy the bare minerals primer. I was not sure if it covered blemishes as well. Should i purchase the primer or is there another base that works well under bare minerals?

I use the BM primer and it works well but doesn't affect the coverage.

Which brushes are you using? If you use the buki brushes they cover better thant the flawless application, and use the max cover concealor brush for blemishes. I did that and it covers just fine for me. You can also buy the max coverage foundation brush which is a bigger version of the concealor brush, but I don't think you need that much coverage all over your face.

Bare Minerals has buildable coverage, if you do it and don't think there's enough, go back over it again. And try switching to one of the kabuki brushes (I like baby buki) if you haven't already.
